cPro2 - Winamp for Mac Sync (Completed)

Edit 2:
Download Patched version*

Edit:
Download the skin here at the Skin Consortium downloads section

Original Post:
I started with my first cpro2 xui object skin :)

I'm doing a port of the default skin for Winamp 6 sorry I mean Winamp for Mac Sync

The skin will be very plain and simple.
Making use of easy to use scripts and xui's that others skinners will be able to reuse if they want to give the cpro2xui skins a go.

I was going to include the search bar on the right but I think its taking too much space there. The sui section also already have a search bar and the mac search bar topright is anyway a library search so not possible here.
Winamp for Mac Sync
EDIT:

*09/2015 EDIT: Added link to patched version for those having strange characters showing up on the songticker. Missing feature: Message while seeking / muting / etc is missing on this version.

Great! Do you know if the original skin has color themes? Why aren`t you calling it something like Winamp Mac? (or Mac winamp or alike..)

Atm it actually still called cPro2 - Winamp for Mac here :P

I'm just afraid people might think its like the generic Mac gfx and I'm not a fan of any Apple products in general :P

So my name options atm:
- Winamp for Mac
- Winamp for Mac Sync
- Winamp for Mac for Windows
- Winamp 6 (but don't want to call it this because it's confusing and Winamp 6[which is still probably years away] will probably not have such a basic UI - Please Nullsoft rather follow Microsoft designs than Apple's old designs :P)
- Winamp Next

Very iTunes like simplistic but looking good. It will be great if you find a good way to fill the empty area.

Maybe throw a high resolution beatvis there... or a classic vis... or both. Will see how things go (I'm not too good with beatvis designs though so maybe I should first finish it before spending too much time on that area)

Making good progress on the skin now :)

To do list:
- Colorthemes (one good thing is that in cpro2xui skins I can change the gammagroups to a minimum for just the needs of this skin)
- Add mute button
- Web Reader gfx
- Figure out what to do with the empty spaces in the screen section
> classic vis, basic song info(khz, kbps, news events [volume: xx%]
- Add generic frame gfx
- About and promo pics

Yes was really cool to skin and just keep one skin in mind for change :D
Colorthemes was very quick since I only had 11 gammagroups hehe

Skin is now complete. Might add more stuff in a later version

If anyone else want to give a cpro2 xui skin a go this should be a good example if you want to see how easy it is.
I also included some reusable scripts and one xui object.

Scripts included:
- sc_aerosnap - Use this script to snap your skin window to the sides. This also acts as an fullscreen button script
- sc_mute - Mute button script (with additional colortheme support if you need a light layer)
- sc_PlayPause - Straight forward but you can also right click to restart the current track
- sc_seekerfade - Fade the seeker on hover
- sc_sliderbar - Create your own fillbar for any slider (left and right sides also doesn't overlay each other on start of slider)
- multibutton - Used for the bolt button (quick playlist, change theme, open folder and open Winamp about

Download the skin here at the Skin Consortium downloads section

There is a little problem with aerosnap's restore window function from fullscreen but it is correct from sides. It doesn't remember the size of the player.

Oo yes, sorry. Knew there was probably something not right since it was to easy to port it to a separate script :P

Will upload fixed version with next update thanks!

New version uploaded:

v1.01 (4 February 2013)
- Added song information (see new sc_songnews xui object)
- Fixed fullscreen restore position bug

PS: Added a new xui object, sc_songnews. Use this to show any string with song information (you create the string using place holders (e.g. %artist% , %bitrate%, %channels%, ...). This text will then fade in and out when there's a news message (e.g. Volume: 55%, Playback paused, ...)

I see that song information(kbps, kHz, stereo/mono) is upper some pixels than other texts (volume, seek, paused...). It is more significant when I used that in my skin. Is this a bug?

Yes sorry... looks like the one (sc_text) are using valign=top and the other one (sc_songnews > m.st.news) is using default values. You can probably fix it for your skin by just removing the valign=top in the sctext or add it to the m.st.news text object.

Your work has really influenced my choice to switch to Winamp, and it was worth it! My only problem is increasing the font size, mainly for the media library side bar. I've followed these instructions but couldn't work out the font being used...

e.g. for Bento skin, the only way I know of increasing it via the UI is:
Prefs -> Skins -> Modern Skins -> Font Rendering tab,
Checkmark: Use skin font mapper,
Then click: Configure skin font mapping
and select:
Map font: Arial
Into: Arial (or choose another font, if you wish)
Scale: Increase to taste (eg. 125%)
Click 'New', then 'Set', then 'Close'.

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks for hard work :D

Hmm.. I almost never changed that fonts, but what I found, is that you can change Library fonts through:

Prefs -> Playlist -> "Playlist fontsize in pixels" (change this value).

And alternatively you can un-check "Use skin or languague pack font" below.

The downside to this is that it changes almost all fonts, Library´s AND Playlist´s..
For tabs and and some button´s fonts, you must edit skin´s files. If you need it I can tell you how, but it may be a bit complicated..

@dockstranger - Glad to hear you like it :)

Only way I'm aware of changing the font size in the Media Library (and Playlist) is like Victhor said via the prefs. You can also do this with clicking on any playlist entry and using Ctrl + "+" or "-"
